the four skills task and presentation

I've just finished sent the four skill task. i was assigned to do the reading skill. though it seemed so easy initially, but i still need to think on how to make it interactively by using technology. but still there are some unavoidable mistakes based on unforgiveable ignorance. so i hope i could make some improvement in the portfolio later. the presentation was short and details. I really agree that a coursebook is very important as a guideliness, however we as teacher should be very flexible in usnig the coursebook depends on the students ability level and language proficiency level too

e-book

we have just finished our e-book assignment, what a relief! now i'm looking forward to finish off the earth song by michael jackson. the e-book making assignment has taught me a lot of new things. now i know that all the skills that we have been learning nowadays are very handy and useful. we can use all technology skills to create a very interactive and creative lesson in the classroom. it is so fun and full of new information about what technology can do nowadays

Today, we were given the group task to be presented later 'working with a coursebook' and we manage to prepare the slide show of the points form by using the powerpoint. then, we were asked to form group of four, and my group members irwan, husna and huda. i hope we can do our best to do the task given. it is almost the same as the earth song task. but this time around we will focus on the four important skills (writing, reading, listening and speaking). after dividing the task, we will try to complete the task within the time given. here i can see that the cooperation and the need of trust each other is very important in order to accomplishing the task. i hope that my group and i will do the best.

after the holidays...

Today, we were given the instruction about assingment 2 and 3 with further explanation. initially, we had a little bit of confusion about the assingment, but luckily at the end of the class, we are able to understand all the instruction. though the assignments seem tougher and difficult, but with the skills of video, audio, and photo editing that we have learnt before. those skills will help us a lot in creating the excellent and good lesson plan and e-book later, i hope so. besides, we have learnt a lot of lessons during the holidays. I cannot imagine how was the situation at that time. my laptop has broken down exactly the minute i finished creating my video for the pairwork task. so, by hook or by crook, i have to send it to the shop to be fixed. luckily, i got the laptop on friday morning then i have to go to the cc to send them into the youtube before the dateline. so, then, i gain something, that anything can happen and can go wrong somewhere, so be prepared for all unexpected things and plan B....

It was captivating

Today, I have seen two interesting video clips shown by Pn. Foziah, and it was very interesting and captivating, our seniors did a good job, thumbs up for them, so Huda and I would want to do a good job also. The video clips shown have given us some ideas on how to work on our own video clip. We would like to depict the scenes of life in urban and rural area. We would like to use the Power Director software because it has a lot of special effect compare to movie maker. We can’t wait to do our own video. The photo and audio editing tasks are very helping in completing this video clip task

Audio editing.....

It so interesting, initially, we was taught on how to blogging, then, we were asked to do picture editing, and now we were given the chance to do the audio editing, after I went back from class, I was immediately looking for the audacity.com, and downloaded the software, I can’t wait to explore the audio editing later. All the information given during Pn. Foziah mass lecture is how important the audio editing is. We can later use or apply this later during the real school teaching process. Here, we were given a big chance to explore the use of audio editing. At the same time I already signed in for the free file storage, called, theonlinedatastorage.com. Now, I’m looking forward for my first audio edited version.tq
