Final Blog

In my opinion, blogging is one of the ‘healthy’ way to keep people keep in touch and it is place for us to give our opinion, ideas, comments and suggestion about everything that come across in our mind. Blogging help me to be creative and keep up-to-date as we have to find for new things and keep on exploring on how to make our blog nice to be seen by other people. Here, our friends can also give some support when we are down, give suggestion if we face with difficult situation and lots of things can be done by using blog. Blogging help us to keep in touch with others and interact with others although we are far away. I think blogging has also help in developing my language skill as I have to express my feeling or ideas in English language. Besides, I have also improved my technological skill such as in typing and also downloading theme, pictures and also videos. Here, lots of websites suggested by our friends which quite useful for me in order to enhance my technological skill. Besides, my critical thinking skills has also been sharpened as I have to give the significant in all point that I want to contribute in my blog so that everything is rational and make sense.
For me this course has taught me a lot of valuable things such as the photo, video and audio editing which might come in handy later when I go into real teaching practice. I do not expect to do the four lesson plan in three weeks, but in anyhow, we did it. And I have learnt a lot of new things on how to organize a one week lesson plans by integrating the use of technology in the lesson plans. All the technological skill we have learnt earlier have very strong points in helping me completing this four skills assignments.

The PBEY 3102 exam

The exam was so tough..., But let bygone be bygone. Hopefully I can get good marks with all my efforts I have put for the test. And I wish everybody good luck and for the other exams too. K, see you next year.

The lesson plan, finally.

Alhamdulillah, we have just finished sending our lesson plan assignment today. I feel so happy and satisfied with what I have done for this moment. Hopefully I will get a good marks, wish you guys the same thing too. For me, by doing these entire four skills lesson plan, I know that we are actually developing our own skill in designing a good leson plan later. besides, we can also reuse all the lesson plans made by our friends later.

The interesting software....

The games software is very interesting and I feel so attracting to learn more about the software as I know it will be very beneficial to our real teaching and practice later, I would never know before we can integrate the use of games in our teaching and learning process if Pn. Foziah did not introduce them to us. It was such a new things that be implemented in order to make the lesson more interesting and very interactive. Pupils love to have fun in learning, so I think this is one of the best way to make the pupils learn indirectly, especially when it comes to learning this second language; English language.

The lesson plan...almost done.

I’m almost done my all the four lesson plan, now, I’m waiting for making my planned teaching aids into reality. I feel so worried that all the lesson plans will never have connection between each other. Therefore, I always check all lesson plans from time to time in order to find or fix any lesson plans that are not in synchronization; as long as the due date is not there yet. This is a very difficult and challenging task for me, but I knew, as future teacher later, we will have to perform many other lesson plans for each day, each week month and throughout the year as our very essential document and routine. Now, it’s the time to inculcate this habit before we move to the real and a never-turn-back moment. So, I decided to learn as much as I can from here so that I’ll make less errors later.

The progression of the lesson plan

I'm almost done the first and second lesson plans, now I would like to proceed to the nextr lesson plan, I think of creating a games for this lesson plan, where everybody will have the chance to involve actively in the learning process later. here, I would like to inculcate the cooperative spirit among the pupils. I know the whole lesson should have the connection between one another, but for me, creating a suitable lesson plan for the pupils based on a topic given is very challenging and I want to try my best to do the lesson plan as appropriate as I can

The hari raya task....

The assignments of the four lesson plans are very tough for me, but by hook or by crook I will try my best to do them during this Hari Raya holidays. My topic is the invention for year 5. Now, I want to try to integrate all the technological skills that we have learnt all this while to design a good lesson plan for the whole week. The designing of lesson plan may require full attention and patient where I have to make sure that all the materials used and the process are parallel and have the connection between one another. In addition, I realize that a lot of consideration has to be made in creating the lesson plans; the level of proficiency, suitable teaching points, the four important skills and others. Now I really know that it is very hard to be a good teacher as we have to be a very good observant and know what is the best task for our pupils. Lastly, I will try my best to do the lesson plan.

Microsoft Publisher

This is my first time of using and exploring the use of Ms Publisher to the utmost...Before this I just used it for making the simple brochure only. Now, we are given the chnace to use it to create the newsletter, brochure, name card and so on. Besides, we are not only eqquiped by knowledge nd chalk and whiteboard only right now, but also other knowledge on the usage of technological items. I an now n the process of creating the name card... hopefully it wil be nice and good job later.

the four skills task and presentation

I've just finished sent the four skill task. i was assigned to do the reading skill. though it seemed so easy initially, but i still need to think on how to make it interactively by using technology. but still there are some unavoidable mistakes based on unforgiveable ignorance. so i hope i could make some improvement in the portfolio later. the presentation was short and details. I really agree that a coursebook is very important as a guideliness, however we as teacher should be very flexible in usnig the coursebook depends on the students ability level and language proficiency level too

e-book

we have just finished our e-book assignment, what a relief! now i'm looking forward to finish off the earth song by michael jackson. the e-book making assignment has taught me a lot of new things. now i know that all the skills that we have been learning nowadays are very handy and useful. we can use all technology skills to create a very interactive and creative lesson in the classroom. it is so fun and full of new information about what technology can do nowadays

Today, we were given the group task to be presented later 'working with a coursebook' and we manage to prepare the slide show of the points form by using the powerpoint. then, we were asked to form group of four, and my group members irwan, husna and huda. i hope we can do our best to do the task given. it is almost the same as the earth song task. but this time around we will focus on the four important skills (writing, reading, listening and speaking). after dividing the task, we will try to complete the task within the time given. here i can see that the cooperation and the need of trust each other is very important in order to accomplishing the task. i hope that my group and i will do the best.

after the holidays...

Today, we were given the instruction about assingment 2 and 3 with further explanation. initially, we had a little bit of confusion about the assingment, but luckily at the end of the class, we are able to understand all the instruction. though the assignments seem tougher and difficult, but with the skills of video, audio, and photo editing that we have learnt before. those skills will help us a lot in creating the excellent and good lesson plan and e-book later, i hope so. besides, we have learnt a lot of lessons during the holidays. I cannot imagine how was the situation at that time. my laptop has broken down exactly the minute i finished creating my video for the pairwork task. so, by hook or by crook, i have to send it to the shop to be fixed. luckily, i got the laptop on friday morning then i have to go to the cc to send them into the youtube before the dateline. so, then, i gain something, that anything can happen and can go wrong somewhere, so be prepared for all unexpected things and plan B....

It was captivating

Today, I have seen two interesting video clips shown by Pn. Foziah, and it was very interesting and captivating, our seniors did a good job, thumbs up for them, so Huda and I would want to do a good job also. The video clips shown have given us some ideas on how to work on our own video clip. We would like to depict the scenes of life in urban and rural area. We would like to use the Power Director software because it has a lot of special effect compare to movie maker. We can’t wait to do our own video. The photo and audio editing tasks are very helping in completing this video clip task

Audio editing.....

It so interesting, initially, we was taught on how to blogging, then, we were asked to do picture editing, and now we were given the chance to do the audio editing, after I went back from class, I was immediately looking for the audacity.com, and downloaded the software, I can’t wait to explore the audio editing later. All the information given during Pn. Foziah mass lecture is how important the audio editing is. We can later use or apply this later during the real school teaching process. Here, we were given a big chance to explore the use of audio editing. At the same time I already signed in for the free file storage, called, theonlinedatastorage.com. Now, I’m looking forward for my first audio edited version.tq

Assalamualaikum...

Today we have learnt a lot about on how to do effective photo editing. Now, we knew that we have so many ways of editing pictures. We not only can use the Adobe Photoshop, but also the CoralDraw online editing picture from the internet. Before this we do not realize the importance of technology in picture editing. We used to accept all kinds of pictures either those pictures are blurred or not in good quality. We feel so sad because we don’t have the opportunity to fix them up. Now, we are not only learnt on how to impart knowledge of technology to students, but also for our own use also. We already know that the students can learn better through visual rather than the teacher keep on talking and not showing any pictures or interesting images related to the lesson plan. The well done tutorial or presentation did by the lecturer are very encouraging and it really help us a lot on how to edit pictures.

Besides, the lecturer has given us opportunity to explore the use of photo editing with the picture that we want to choose. Then, we have the discussion regards to our assignment 3. We were there to brainstorm about the storyboard of the particular topic that we have choose which is My country! Although we have come with the rough idea on how the storyboard will look like, but we still need to think for improvement of the storybook so that our e-book will be successfully done.

Characteristic of young learners….

Yesterday, we have discussed about the characteristic of young learners. I realized that this knowledge is too important because from there, we will be able to know the level of the pupils in learning second language and how to integrate the use of technology in Teaching and Learning process. Besides, the presentation made by all of cohort 3 members are very simple yet it gave us some big impact. The discussion were very helping in our understanding about young learners and we also were able to contribute or share our own opinion and experience with others, that was great. Finally, we were asked to form the group randomly, and I really hope that I can work with those I have never worked before….look forward to it!

Assignment 2......

Oh no...today we already got our second and challenging assignment. It's very a tough and difficult assignment, so I hope my group and I will perform and do the best for our assignment. Besides, I was elected as the leader of the group; my group members are, irwan, afiq, syahana and eliana. I really look forward for the progressing of this assingment so that we will not attempt to do this assignment at "eleventh hour", besides, procrastination is the thief of time....everybody, fighting!

Impressive..........

This was my first time learning and knowing about blog, blog? i thougt i'm not going to involve with this kind of technology, but i'm wrong, totally wrong! now i'm know that technology is so important. so, i really hope to learn more about animation, photo editing and video editing...i'm looking forward to learn and involve with these things...
